Why should you lower your bounce rate?
Say if you have 1,00,000 unique visits to your website but you have a 70% bounce rate which means 70% of your traffic is useless. Your website has failed to engage with visitors.
Measuring unique visits is an useful metric for marketing. However having a low bounce rate you can stay assured that you are reaching the right audience.

Bounce Rate - Page Load Factor
A visitor is expected to wait 3-5 seconds to check your landing page as 3-second usability test is related to the page load factor.
Page Loading Time: One of the important factor for bounce rate is your landing page loading time. Flash based websites generally takes longer time to download as they need to download a large quantity of data. If the visitor has to wait for a longer time before experiencing content/visuals they are more likely to bounce.
